Karaoke speakers for diy audio reccommendations?

Natashia, on August 6, 2025 at 1:43 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 1

We are not having a dance floor or DJ at my wedding, but we would like to have so softer background music and mic's available for speaches. I feel like the cheapest option could be buying a few speakers that will hook up with Mic's and be able to use TWS to connect to eachother. In theory this should allow for multiple microphones at once, and for the mic's to have a separate volume control from the music and still allow for a playlist to be put on for the background noise.

Does anyone have any reccommendations for karaoke machines or other options that fit the bill? We have a very tight budget and I honestly can't drop more than $300 on anything music/audio related and even that is kind of pushing it.

You can find a party type speaker amplifier unit that comes with a microphone and accepts both audio feed and controls via a cellphone's bluetooth. There are some bestbuy brands under the $300 price but you could probably find other sources like Amazon.

Basically a 100W system with internal battery could be found, including a microphone. I'm assuming a somewhat small guest list -- 50 or so. I think that wattage would be decent for background music and people giving toasts or sharing thoughts about the wedding couple.
