k can’t find an officiant!

You have time to find one so I wouldn't panic just yet. But if you can't find one look into a family member getting ordained so they can do it for you. It's a simple and affordable process. Also have you done a google search for preachers in that area? Have you asked the venue for a recommendation?

Have you checked out nearby cities? I looked in the WeddingWire vendor directory for officiants in and near Gatlinburg, there might be some options there. Is that close enough? Are there other nearby cities we could try?

Unfortunately the town we are marrying in is super tiny, and there’s things that do not pop up. I think we will have to search outside of the wedding wife directory 😩

What we decided, and another girlfriend did this for her wedding, was to have a family member perform the ceremony. NC does not recognize online ordinations, so this wouldn't cover the legally binding part of the wedding. We are going to do a simple courthouse ceremony when we get our marriage license so the legal part will all be processed prior to our wedding. That way, whomever officiates our ceremony will just be doing the memorable part and we won't have to deal with any legal logistics that day. This might work for you too!
