Justice of the Peace or Wedding?

Oh another suggestion...I knew a couple who went to the Bahamas, got married on the beach privately and stayed there to have their honeymoon. When they returned they had their reception for friends and family and during the reception they played the video of their ceremony for guests to see. So in lieu of having a wedding, just take some funds and throw a "Celebration of Marriage" party/reception if you care to share with friends and family. How does your FH feel about it?

Small weddings can be done Im living proof, My budget is 1500.00 thats it. I'm doing it all myself no help guest list is about 70 people and it's going great. Mine will be at a firehall due to late sept always raining otherwise it was going to be at a park. planning is only hard if you don't enjoy it. message me if you need ideas i post alot of my dyi's on here too =) good luck! p.s. Im actually getting married at the justice of the peace in a week. We chose that option because 1. weddings are expensive 2. We have lived together for 5 yrs. and 3. It is best in Gods eyes. I was really opposed to it at first but its not the wedding im looking forward to its the fact that an amazing man wants to marry my crazy butt. Do what ever your heart feels. If you can afford it then I say GO FOR IT!! but if not its not like you wont have friends/ family to support you either way. GOOD LUCK!!
