Justice of the Peace in Kansas City?

Have you tried checking out different wedding directories? You can even look through WeddingWire! Just enter your zip code and check 'officiant' on the home page 'vendor search' and you'll get the chance to look through a bunch of options!

I don't know that a JP is going to do that. Why don't you check out celebrant usa foundation? They train non denominational wedding officiants who create weddings based on what YOU want. I bet you'll find someone great.

I'm from KCMO and have looked into this...the only thing I was able to find was the the courthouse only does weddings on Fridays. I don't think they do any special kind of customization.

Thanks for your responses... We actually have found someone absolutely wonderful and I don't want to make the reason public for why we are looking for other options... mainly due to some family religious preferences. We are being preferred by a family member to use someone not associated to any religion. It's hard to find a justice of the peace for this option, so I want to make sure we are doing our due diligence for research. I've found it extremely difficult to please everyone in this process and am about to say let's go to the BEACH!!
