Congratulations on your engagement!! First thing I'd recommend is figuring out budget and estimated guest count. From there, start looking for venues in your budget that can hold at least the number of guests you plan to invite. Once you book your venue, start looking for any other vendors that you may want (photographer, DJ, wedding planner, florist, etc). Start with the biggest priorities first, and work your way down to the smaller details. Always feel free to post questions or share updates on your planning progress on these forums. You will want to start with creating your budget then determining your guest list. Once those two things are done, then you can begin looking at venues. You need to know both of those things because you'll need to know how many people you are inviting and what your budget so that you don't accidentally pick a venue that is too expensive or too small for your guest count, Once you have your venue locked in then you can start booking other vendors.
