Just realized I never signed a target registry gift for a friend

A while ago I bought an old friend a throw blanket from her wedding registry (I wasn't invited but wanted to give a gift anyway) with a note that said "I hope that you have many snuggley movie nights or rainy day reading under this blanket. Praying for all God's blessings on your marriage" (we were church friends) and I just realized that I had used all my characters and didn't think twice about signing it. Does target put the name of the buyer on the receipt, or will this be a mystery gift to her. If it is a mystery I'm not even sure I want to tell her it was me so she can have an anonymous random act of kindness. I mean, I guess I'll find out if she messages me on fb asking for an address for a thank you card... Haha. Did your packages from your registry have the name of the person that purchased it on them?

We received a gift off of our Target baby registry a few weeks ago. The invoice had my aunt's name listed under the billing address.

What Sarah said...it should still list her name on the invoice.

But if you know for sure that it's been delivered to her, you could send her a message just asking whether she received the throw blanket you sent, and that you completely forgot to leave your name on it, and you really hope she loves it! I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting someone to know a gift was from you -- just think, she would probably feel awful if she found out 5 years later that it was from you and she hadn't thanked you. And she would probably assume that you were miffed at her for not sending a thank you note (since it sounds like you're not regularly in touch), and wonder why you never said anything.
