Just feeling sad today

I’ve been so stress free for the past few weeks and today I’m just sad. It’s SNOWING here so I’m hoping the weather gets this out of its system and in 11 days we’re back to beautiful warm spring weather.

We were also trying to plan a small brunch with some of our out of town guests when one of them told us that due to unexpectedly high taxes they owed, she and her husband are no longer able to come. Which is out of my control and understandable, it just sucks, this person was one of my best friends in the city we used to live in, and I was so excited to get to see her. We’re all hoping to plan trips to visit each other in the not too distant future. Also sucks because of course my seating chart with their names on it just arrived yesterday. It’s too expensive to get it reprinted so I guess we’re just going to leave it and take the chairs away from the table (they were at a table of eight and we have both tables of six and eight so nbd).
Just needed to vent a little to a group that would understand.

It's soooo disappointing when the people you were really looking forward to being there all of a sudden can't make it. We had a few of those unfortunately. It's ok to be sad and disappointed but try not to let it ruin your day. And I hope the weather clears up for you!

Aw, i'm sorry to hear about these issues.
take some time to have self care for yourself! it's so easy to get caught up so take some time to breathe and just focus on yourself for a moment to relax

That is hard when someone that you really want there, cannot make it. Sounds like you have the seating chart handled well. The snow today is just depressing…spring will be here soon! We are having some issues with people not respecting/liking my daughter’s adult only ceremony/reception. Wedding is just over 4 months away and the invitations haven’t even been sent yet. Sigh. Deep breaths, we can do this!

Hi there we know that sometimes these things may happen with ppl but will she be there for your wedding or is it everything. Or did I must that part sorry speed reading in all🤣🤣 but dont be sad. I know that you wanted her there for your brunch you ladies will work it out I'm sure of it.

Thank you, we already have a small 50 person wedding so now I’m hoping no one else drops out. Feeling better today so hopefully everything starts looking up a bit.

I think it’s normal to be emotional when you’re so close to the day! Don’t fret over small stuff like this (I know it’s not easy!) because you are ALMOST THERE! Your day is going to be perfect even if it’s not- so stay hydrated this next 10 days, relax, and have a wonderful wedding!
