Another extra note, I like rustic weddings and we may be having it in a barn that my great grandfather built 😊

Congratulations! It’s such an exciting time! We also have about a two year engagement and now are just one year away! I would say to definitely start a Pinterest/inspiration board first! Narrow everything down and then focus on the venue! I’ve been told SO many times that September is one of the busiest wedding months. Once you find the venue and the dress everything else seems to just make sense.

I would start by researching how much the average vendor costs (caterer, venue, photographer, dj etc) so you can make a realistic budget!

Congratulations on your engagement!!!! I’d definitely recommend starting out by figuring out your budget, every other decision you make will (or should anyway ) be Influenced by that decision. I’d also nail down exactly what you want to do for your venue, verify that you want to use the barn, do you want your ceremony and reception at the same location? Etc...

Congratulations! Your ring is beautiful and you two look great together First things first, establish your budget and a rough draft of the guest list. That'll start to get you where you need to be in terms of booking your vendors!

Congratulations! I’m a little under 2 years with a May 2021 date (we got engaged May of this year). WW has been super helpful so far; we booked our venue last month; Pinterest has been my right hand as well for ideas. I’d start by discussing a budget, followed by visiting venues; some places start booking up quickly.
