I know the difference. But, I have a bridal set picked out and didn't know if my wedding band was included in the "total weight." Just confused. Thanks.

"Total weight" refers to all diamonds on the jewelry. So if the set includes a band and an engagement ring, the CTW would be the carat total weight of every diamond on both rings.

EX: Bridal set is listed with 2 CTW. This means there's 2 carats total of diamond between the two of them, the details will probably tell you how many carats are on each individual ring.

Ok. I appreciate this! Thank you. I do have a solitaire. It's 2 carats...I don't want to feel obnoxious. Honest opinion if it will or not.

What type of band do you have for your solitaire?

The solitaire is 2 carat. The band will either be plain or have sparkles. We haven't gotten that far.

If the set is sold as one price with the band included, yes it's in the total carat weight
