Oh my fingers are crossed for you!!!! My cousin is getting married in July and they are very nervous too! I hope we are back to somewhat of a normal by then!

Hey!!! I hope things stay safe for you - definitely wash your hands tons and stay cautious, immediately shower when you get home and all that jazz. My hubby and I - we eloped on our day with a good friend and zoom - are both working remote. I'm a consultant currently working with a large bank that basically turned all employees remote as soon as WHO declared everything a pandemic, and my hubby works for a different software firm. We were planning on having our wedding on 4/4 up until that week. Now we're both working remote and trying to keep sane in our one bedroom apartment.


Not that we've really fought - we just both get stir crazy. I know I'm very lucky to have my job and no pay cut. My hubby took a salary cut for at least three months, so thankfully our wedding was fully paid off. But also since everything is paid off, we still want to go through with our plans. Currently heading towards August 15th! It's hard to postpone but we had no choice. Hopefully our day will be gorgeous.

Hi there! Oh yeah we do all of that as soon as we get home. Hands washed clothes to the wash. Shower, phones disinfected. Shoes off in the garage.. Our girls aren't allowed to come near us until all has been done. My kids haven't left the house since this started. They're going nuts and miss their friends. I'm so glad to hear that you get to be home. It's a stress for me every day. I actually had to be put on medication to help with my anxiety over it. Not ideal but it helps.

I'm glad to hear you can still have a get together around the 15th. You deserve to do that! I'm sure it will be just as gorgeous as you imagined it to be Good luck

Hello!! I'm an xray tech so still working! My FH builds log homes so he's still working too. We're getting married September 26th this year! We've gotten our ceremony and reception venues booked and paid, photographer booked and one payment left, dj all paid, all our decor and flowers bought just need to paint and put everything together, and working on a few other DIY projects and finishing up the guest list! Once we get our invites in the next week or 2 then I can start working on my DIY rsvps. Have our menu all set and schedule planned out for our wedding day. Most of this we've had done about a month after we got engaged. I'm a big planner so got right to it haha oh and my dress just came in so now to wait for everything to open back up so I can see it!

How exciting! You're moving right along huh? You're getting married a day before my birthday!! Hopefully everything is cleared up by then and you have an amazing wedding I'm a planner too so I've been doing stuff for awhile but it feels good to have things set in stone!

View Quoted Comment Yes, we're both very lucky. We're able to do our jobs remotely because we're software engineers, and technically the world needs coders more than ever. I'm glad you guys are taking care of yourselves- hopefully your kids can get outside again soon. I will say that staying at home isn't completely the best. Sometimes you just need to be outside lol. We've been doing short walks and will probably do more once we get our puppy Friday, but we are lucky for the most part.

I enjoy being at home, but we just got snow again last night so It's a bit cold. My kiddos go outside and write on the ground with chalk, or play on the back deck in the sand box, etc. I think we are going to run to the store curbside pick up to get some sand bags to put on the basketball hoop so my daughter can shoot.

View Quoted Comment We are taking over my FH family farm house. It's basically needs to be completely redone. His uncle has been living there and did not take care of it one bit. So new kitchen, bathrooms, new flooring in bedrooms, finish the first basement. (Old house, has first actual basement and then the 2nd one lower down for the woodstove.) Plus lots of paint!! It has so much potential though and in a very pretty area so I'm willing to put the work in and bring it back to life!

Hi ! i am doing well. my job moved to work from home and so i'm not afflicted financially or anything. lately things have been ok in terms of me keeping busy too! surprisingly i like going out weekends but lately ever since the shelter in place, i've been keeping myself busy with my hobbies and trying to learn new skills and stuff

My FH is working full time from home and I am very part time. Unfortunately I can only do one of my 3 jobs from home right now and being an independent contractor I am patiently waiting for our state to open the applications for the pandemic unemployment benefits.
We’re getting married October 3rd this year if everything goes to plan.
In the meantime I’ve completed my accessorizing for my attire, finished off a few decor items and am looking for inspo on here & on Pinterest.

You're so lucky to be able to work from home. I've asked a few times if i can and they won't allow me to, which is odd, since my job is in the office! The only reason I can think of is because of printing things, but if someone else is here I'm not sure why they can't grab off the printer....Who knows! What are some of your hobbies?

I hope everything turns out well for you! What state are you in? I sneak on pinterest here and there, but It sucks me in for too long and i get overwhelmed by all the different choices.
