Just a happy brag about my girls

Y’all, I just need to brag on my MOH and one of my bridesmaids for a second. MOH is currently thousands of miles away for an internship but is still checking in and asking what she can do to help on an almost weekly basis. I have a ton of extra cardstock so I bought a wedding program template and I couldn’t figure out how to use the software for it so she did it for me! And... she just let me know her and the others chose a date for the bachelorette already (❤️ On my spring break yay). She’s also asked about theme ideas and preferred dates for a shower and said she’s been talking to the best man about maybe having a get together this fall so the wedding party can all meet.

One of my other bridesmaids offered to hand-address (!!) all of the envelopes for my STDs and invitations. They look SO GOOD! I was stunned and she’s already done with the STD envelopes for the addresses I have so far. She also helped with my centerpieces and made the cutest “proposal” cards for my flower girl and ring bearer!

I’m just so excited that my friends have wanted to be so involved especially because I didn’t ask for any of this! I guess if you have any positive wedding party stories please share here!!

That's wonderful! I also have such fantastic friends! My bridal party took me on an amazing bachelorette getaway this weekend Friday and Saturday and then threw me the sweetest bridal shower on Sunday. Two of my bridesmaids are out of state. They traveled all the way to NJ from Austin, TX (close friend) and southwest Virginia (my FSIL) to be there for me this weekend. My MOH has been incredible, and she's been going above and beyond for me even while 6 months pregnant! I have such amazing women in my life, and I'm so grateful for them! My mom and FMIL have also been incredibly kind and generous throughout this whole wedding process. I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such supportive and caring women.

MOH and I have been friends since 2001, and the other bridesmaid and I have been friends since 2010 they aren’t going anywhere haha!

I'm glad they are helping so much! My girls aren't involved in wedding planning, but the 6 that went to my bach out of 9 did a phenomenal job and I felt so loved there!

Yay! Sometimes I get so down reading all the posts about terrible bridal parties, it really makes me appreciate my own girls and my FH's guys.
My sister is my MOH, she has been amazing! Like normal sisters we fight sometimes but through all this wedding stuff she has been so understanding and supportive. She bought FH and I Minnie and Mickey wedding ears, she bought me a Bridal Buddy, I didn't even know what that was! She claims she got it because she doesn't want to help me pee. She also designed our Save the Date and our Invitation suite and she has been helping my mom with all the bridal shower stuff, invitations, games, and favors.
My mom has been driving herself crazy helping me with everything. She made my ring bearer pillow, it's actually a teacup/pin cushion. She made the liner and decorations for my flower girl basket, and she bought the fake petals. She's making our welcome sign and storing all our decor for the wedding (it's a lot). She made 35 huge paper flowers for my bridal shower (I helped a little). She made her own dress for the wedding, it looks amazing on her! And she offered to host the rehearsal dinner!
My Bridesmaids have been so supportive as well. They all live kinda far away from me so we don't get to hang out as much as we would like but they are awesome. Life has been pretty hectic for all of us so I am not expecting or asking them to help with anything. They check in on me every so often to make sure I'm not pulling my hair out with stress. They were all able to make it to the Engagement Party, they all rsvp'd Yes to the Bridal Shower and they are all excited for the Bachelorette. We may not get to see each other as often as we like but they always pull through for special occasions.

I didn't think I wanted or needed them to be in the beginning, but it has been a great help. I wanted to try to get as much done as possible before I start my first year teaching and coaching, and I have gotten more done than I was even hoping for!!

Your mom sounds very crafty!!
Luckily my bridesmaids all live within an hour of me, except that my MOH is away for her internship. My other (not mentioned) bridesmaid has been crazy hectic busy recently with her new job and new rescue dog but is actually moving less than a mile away from me in two weeks!!
