Jury Duty!

Call them...call them immediately...if you have to, leave a message.

In CO you get to have an excuse one time. I actually missed my jury duty one time...I just completely spaced it. I called the next morning and they said it was fine...it happens and rescheduled me. Then I had to call again and tell them I had just found out I had to go to AK...so they rescheduled me one more time. Typically they're understanding, especially if you say you'd like to serve your duty if you can just schedule it later.

There should be an email address on the summons or website so you can contact someone. I had to do that once because I was going to be on vacation and they postponed it for me.

Yeah, since you already have plans and probably bought tickets and such you should be able to get out of it

Oh man wow! Good thing you got it BEFORE you left so you can take care of seeing if you can make other arrangements. Yeah definitely call them or go to the courthouse. Good luck with that!

I havent had jury duty before but from the people that have had it and had other things before that got out of it I hope you get to get out of it

I got stuck with jury duty, few times, but only had to do it once, and the other time I just simply explained why I couldn't and they let me go. It varys state to state. Good Luck!
