Junior bridesmaids only?

Elizabeth, on July 7, 2020 at 2:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
So, I really want to include my younger sisters in my wedding party. They are all three under 18. Is it okay to JUST have them? I have friends, but don’t want to offend some by not picking them but picking others. Ya know. I was thinking of maybe only having my younger sisters. I love them and want them to feel special more than any friends.
What do you think???

It's totally fine to have whoever you want. It's your wedding day so you should have whose you mean the most to you standing up beside you. Don't let your friends make you feel bad for picking your sisters. Azazie has some really cute junior bridesmaids dresses.

Yes it’s your day and you can pick whoever you want! Friends have to understand certain things I’m sure you have different relationships with everyone! Word of advice being a bridesmaid you have to contribute time patience and money! You should be able to tell which friends you select by that alone! Having just your sisters is fine though!

originally, each side had 3 people. 3 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen.

me and my fiance have 8 kids together. 5 are mine. 3 are his. we are having our youngest, my son and his daughter both age 10 doing the flower girl/ring thing.

his middle child is now in the wedding as a junior bridesmaid because she was upset that her sister was in it . now all of our kids want in it. Bless his sons heart he wants to unofficially officiate lol

    I have 4 girls 13/15/17/20 and 1 boy/10 He has 2 girls 10/12 and son /16

so our plan is to have our kids walk out first down the aisle and take a seat and the rest of the normal wedding party do their thing and stand up with us

they all get fancy clothes and get to do the walk... i think everyone will be happy

i think only the grooms sister who is in the wedding has an issue with all the kids

its whatever you want... its your day. nothing wrong with ages of the party

You can have whoever you want stand up on your side. Make sure there are 2 people 18+ to sign the marriage certificate as witnesses to make it legal.

You can absolutely have your younger sisters as your bridesmaids! I am having my FH’s 17 year old daughter and my 9 year old daughter as mine and FH is having his 17 year old son as his Best Man. That’s our whole wedding party.
What PP said is true about having witnesses but they do not have to be in your wedding party, they can be anyone that you choose that is attending the ceremony and witnessing it.
