Junior bridesmaid

Hey all! I have a junior bridesmaid (14 yr old) and she is pretty tall (about 6” shorter than me). Me and my bm’s will all be in flats and all my bm’s are wearing long dresses. So my question is, do I have my junior bridesmaid wear the same gowns as my BM’s? Or do I have her order the same dress and color, but in the short length (just around the knee). Or is it normal for a junior to wear the long dress too?

It’s all on preference really. I was a junior bridesmaid once when I was 11 and the bride had me in a long dress. Have you asked her if she has a preference or what she would find more comfortable for her style/age?

I was a junior bridesmaid and was in a long dress. I have a 10 year old junior bridesmaid and she will be in a long dress (her choice).

That is up to you. There is on "one way/right way." I originally wanted my jr.bridesmaids to look different, but ended up having them wear the same dress as the adult bridesmaids.

I gave my junior bridesmaid (will be 14 at wedding) the same dress guidelines as my bridesmaids will the additions option to choose a tealength dress or a long dress (other bridesmaids are all in long), she choose a long dress!

I have a junior bridesmaid who (she will be 13) and she is crazy tall, just about as tall as my other bridesmaids so i am thinking of having her in a long dress as well but a different style to be more suitable for her age.

I think it just depends what you want, if you want her to stand out as different from the regular bridesmaids she could go short but if you want her to be seen as a bridesmaid go with long. Kind of the same as if you want your maid of honor to wear something different and stand out or not

I will be having 2 junior bridesmaids! Both 13, they are my FH's twin daughters! They will both be in long dresses just like the BM's. We may have to get them hemmed, especially for one of them who is much shorter then the other (fraternal twins), but they love the idea of the long dresses as well!
