Here are my sweet nieces (flower girl) 6 & (junior bridesmaid) 11

For some reason its really hard to find "tween" bridesmaids dresses ESPECIALLY that match the other bridesmaids... We've tried Dillards, JcPenny, Sears, Ross, TJmaxx, everywhere....

Hire a seamstress to make something. It may be your best bet.

How old is your Jr. BM? I found my daughters dress, she will be 9 @ Davids bridal. It doesn't match exactly the BM dresses. The fabric and style is basically the same, as long as the dresses compliment each other I think it looks fine.

Are you trying to match the color or the lace pattern? Honestly, you may find one or the other, but it may be difficult to find both. Have you checked out Etsy? I didn't have anyone this young in my BP, but I've heard a lot of rave reviews about Etsy sellers. Oh, and how about ThredUp.com? Chances are, someone somewhere is selling a wedding party dress in their sizes, worn only once. Good luck!

What a great deal you got on the BM dresses and they are so pretty!!! We have my nieces wedding in October and we just found a dress for our 12 year old daughter. It is a cranberry lace dress that is very age appropriate. Best of all, it was only $5 at Nordstrom Rack. You are right, tween dresses are hard to find that don't make them look older.

    Good luck,

    Sandi

Have you thought about getting her the same dress in an xs and having it altered to fit her?

My flower girl's dress came from Zullily. I believe it was $19.99.

I don't think they have to match. I would try to make sure the colors complete each other.

Synthetic fabrics don't always take up dye at the same rate so you may end up with different colors on the trim, lining and lace. I wouldn't chance it.

Rather than try to find a pink lace dress, because it's not going to match anyway, I would look for a coordinating dress. Ivory would also look great-add a pink ribbon sash.

Update! So we went back and grabbed a small in the bridesmaids dress. Were going to have it altered to fit her and fold the top in a way that it will create a one shoulder thing at the top (also so she won't look like she has boobs) because she's starting to get some and she hates it, poor thing. If that dosent work out im not gonna stress it because I know we'll find something! Yay
