June 20th fears

Sam, on March 18, 2020 at 11:01 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
Is anyone getting married in June worried about having to reschedule?!

My venue hasn’t said anything yet but I’ve heard others in my area are.

My bachelorette party is also Memorial Day weekend with 20 ladies. When do I start the panic for that?

My wedding date is June 19th. I spoke to my venue in regards to my wedding and they informed me they are only postponing March and April for now. Things could be better by the time our wedding date rolls around. Try not to panic yet. However, i do feel the panic about my bridal shower which was supposed to be April 18th... we’ll probably just postpone it until closer to the wedding ): alomg with the bachelorette part to Disney (which is currently closed down).

Our is June 28th and I’m not worried since it’s the very end. It’s way too early to worry or panic . Who’s knows what will happen a week from now. Worrying about the unknown now isn’t going to do any good

Ours is June 6. We live in Illinois and as of yesterday when I talked to my venues, they both said nothing has changed.

Unfortunately we had to cancel one of my bridal showers that’s in 2 weeks which I’m so sad about but, it’s the right thing to do. My stepmom wants to do like a watch party on Facebook since everything is closed down and the restaurant can’t even cater for us.. and everything else is closed/shut down.
I know it’s hard to stay calm and not panic but we have to stay positive! Maybe re evaluate end of April and see where everything is by then.

Mine was June 19th. Our families and I got together to talk about our options and we decided instead of driving ourself crazy with “what if’s” that we would cancel. We just have way too much money on the line to chance it. We got in touch with our vendors yesterday and mostly everyone (except our venue) was good about giving us our deposits back. It’s truly heartbreaking but we’ve decided we are going to use the money saved to put towards a down payment for a house and get married in either Sept or Oct on the beach with some close friends and family. Good luck on your decision making! Wish we never had to go through this nightmare.

We were scheduled for June 20th here in Montana. My fiancé and I talked and decided that we would postpone until either September or possibly do JP this year and have a big celebration next year. This was a hard decision but I have people traveling from the midwest and west coast for our NW Montana wedding. Fortunately we were going to marry at our house so I will not be out the venue but I will be contacting our vendors today. Hard stuff for sure. Hugs to all of you!

We are getting married June 25th in Rock Hill, SC. We have decided to keep our plans and date and wait everything out. We just got over losing our original venue due to them filing for bankruptcy. NOAH'S Event Venue closed down in Charlotte, NC and we are just booking another venue last week. By the summertime people are going to want to go on vacations, have parties, and visit family and friends. Keeping everyone in the house for months isn't going to work, So try not to stress too much!
