Jumpsuit for cocktail formal?

I'm going to a wedding next month that is "cocktail formal" attire, described as elegant full-length or cocktail dresses for women and dark suits for men. Can I wear this jumpsuit? I feel like the lace fancies it up and I plan to dress it up with jewelry and an up-do.

ETA: The pant legs fit me more like regular pants than the cropped look on the tall model.

IMO, it is a little too casual for a formal event. I found these on JCP.com and both are under $50:

If the other female guests take the "cocktail formal" literally and they don't assume it's just a reminder that this isn't a casual or business event,, you may be in the only woman in pants (or a jumpsuit). Cocktail formal is either a short cocktail dress or a long cocktail dress. You can get away with a little black dress and blingy accessories. JMO.

Thanks for the advice! I love the jumpsuit but can't find an occasion to wear it for. Looks like I'm off to Macy's for a true cocktail dress.
