Is anyone else doing a holiday wedding and if so is it part of your theme? my finance and I have always done a huge party for the 4th and it's our dating anniversarry already for 7 years so its special to us however I am not a fan of the patriotic them for our wedding seeing as neither of us are military and our venue is a beach I want it more elegant with light colors while incorporating fireworks sparklers smoke bombs and lanterns and lights to kinda pay homage to the 4th.

We’re having our wedding on July 4th too but not incorporating the theme. That being said, our venue is on the water in a harbor where there are always fireworks so I’m sure we’ll go out with all our guests to watch them at night.

Fireworks are awesome! We considered doing a Christmas-themed wedding in early December. I thought it would be nice to have large, beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Since most of our guests are local, and our ceremony would be intimate, we would probably still have a decent turnout on a holiday.

We got married on July 4th and incorporated absolutely nothing about the holiday. Although lots of people asked if my colors were red white and blue....

Our wedding date (Leap Day) isn't "technically" a holiday, but it's rare so it kind of seems like it is. We don't have anything related to the date at the wedding, though! Just our hashtag. Smiley smile

I'm marrying on the Saturday of memorial day weekend. So all hotels prices are driven up is my biggest problem. No I'm not incorporating anything from the holiday but it's the unofficial start to summer so I'm throwing a complete wedding paaarty with bbq style food at a beautiful country club.

Our wedding will be next Dec 7th and sadly it doesn't snow where we live (wanted a winter wonderland wedding) so I would love to still incorporate a little christmas so we may have people sign christmas ornaments instead of advice cards and put it in our house we will be buying/moving into right before the wedding, on our first christmas tree (in that house) or might do snowflake ornament favors, etc! Also we plan to have a fire with checkered red and black blankets and christmas lights plus our colors are bugundy, navy and blush so very fall esc. And white of course (very christmas-y) so we are pushing a little on that haha Smiley heart also our date is on pearl harbor day so will have something for that on the memory table
