I know vendors fill up faster during summer weddings than “off season.” Im also getting married next July and I don’t think it’s too soon to start. Personally I want to spread out the costs as much as I can through out this year so I’m doing what I can now.

It's definitely not too early to start at all! Venues and vendors fill up FAST. I would get right on it if you want more options! We're starting planning now and our wedding will be 2-3 months later than yours.

July 20, 2019 in Larkspur (south of Denver)! We have booked our venue, photographer, month of coordinator, and florist. Our guest list & budget is done. Date is picked. I have asked my bridal party (he's asking his party in July). We scheduled our engagement pictures for August 4. We are scheduling catering & bakery tastings this month and next month. I'm starting wedding dress shopping next week! Then tackling officiant, DJ, and videographer. I'm having 3-4 hair & makeup trials before I book. I've had one, the next one is next week and I have to schedule the other 2. I have come in contact with a few vendors who are already booked.

I don’t think it’s too soon! Our date is 7/27/19. We’ve already booked the venue, bartender (required by venue) and photographer. We’re planning to book the caterer, florist, and DJ soon and will then start on the rest of it. Depending on the area, I think it’s best to start booking things at least a year out as vendors may book up quickly.

I'm almost done planning. Depending where you are, they fill up very fast because it's summer. Also, it's better to plan early so you have more time to pay things off.

I’m an August 2019 bride but definitely start planning soon, or at least looking around! Venues book EARLY. I actually had no intention of being a summer bride, but our venue was booked for every fall Saturday until 2021!

Hey Alisha! Our date is 7/20/2019 and we have the venue, photographer, officiant, and florist booked so far. I jumped right on the planning shortly after we got engaged just because I was so excited but you don't really have to start that early. I would definitely start soon...that's the advice I've gotten from the vendors that they book up a year in advance sometimes. So to make sure you get what you want it might be better to start sooner rather than later. Good luck!!!

Wow your on it!! I wish I could say I have half of what you have done. Our date is set for 7/6/2019 and I'm still trying to find the perfect beach venue on a very low budget Smiley smile

Wedding date twin!! Smiley smile Yes, vendors fill up FAST! Starting a year out is a good time. I started booking everything in June! We have booked our venue, photographer, DJ, officiant, and hair/makeup artist! I said yes to the dress two weeks ago too! We are ordering our flowers online to be premade, so I won't book those until around November or December to give them plenty of time.

    Happy planning!

mine is July 20, 2019. Venues go quick so start sooner rather than later.
The following for me is all booked: venue, rehearsal dinner, DJ, hotel room block, photographer, videographer, florist..I had my hair and makeup trial in June and so happy I did because I will be making adjustments.

Let me me know if you have any questions!

We have already contacted our venue and are planning on visiting it soon to get a good look at it and book it. We just recently decided to change dates to a Sunday to help us save on costs that we can put into the reception and food. I've already been looking into caterers and we have our choices of djs down to two. I'm big into planning way ahead of time so that way I can not be as stressed during the month of as I would have been.

We just booked our venue last week. We have our colors picked out and halfway through the guest list. I think the earlier the better, we are starting early so we can spread the funds. We are searching for a caterer, dj and photography at the moment.

I would book sooner then later but take your time. Find the right place for you. Mine is 7/20/2019 and we have a venue, hair stylist, photographer, and baker set.

My fiancé also said wow it’s over a year away. I told him we were planning it now.. we booked Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park for the wedding and Bristlecone Inn for the reception. We also booked party liquor for the open bar service at the reception. We also booked Joe and Kari Pyle photography for the wedding and reception and some photos in RMNP. We met with the minister and made arrangements for our ceremony. We stopped at the bakery to talk to them. My big items are completed. I have 380 days left and I’m feeling good about what we’ve accomplished..
