July 20! It's coming so quickly! So we have every vendor booked (venue, photographer, videographer, officiant, DJ, caterer, florist, month of coordinator, hotel block, transportation, baker, hair & makeup). My dress came today (yay!), I bought it in October so I'm going in next week for my first try on & to schedule my first alterations appointment. I already have my veil. All my bridesmaids besides 1 have ordered their dresses from Azazie, I have 9 bridesmaids. The bachelor & bachelorette parties are booked along with flights. My mom just started planning my May bridal shower. Our hotel for the nights prior & night of are booked. Our registry & website are done. Save the Dates went out in October. We have our first dance lesson scheduled for March. My HAMU trial is scheduled for June.

The next steps for us are picking the rental groomsmen suits, buying the groom's suit, going to the caterer to pick linens & china options, sending out invites (April), finish buying decor, finish buying bridesmaids & groomsmen gifts, buy parent gifts, buy my shoes, buy favors, print menus & programs, finalize our menu, and put together welcome bags!

    How about you?

July 7th - counting down the days!!!
My project for the upcoming long weekend is putting together all my invitations their going out early (March) and I cannot wait. We got a custom wax stamp and I’m doing the addressing myself - it’s my first DIY!

outside invasions we just signed the contract with our baker and we have our first meeting with our officiant this Friday! It’s all getting real.

    What are you working on?

July 13! 5 more months!! Everything except for rehearsal dinner is booked. Just need to do invites, finish decor, find veil, order cake topper, do HAMU trial (my friend is doing it for us), get groom and GM attire, work out details of ceremony, oh! And buy our wedding bands. Time seems to be going slow to me lol

July 26th! We have all of our vendors booked, the decorations made, the attire bought/ rented, invitations created and printed, and the bridal party gifts bought (some in the process of being made). I still need to book the rehersal dinner and transportation for our guests. We also need to decide what favors to do. We're thinking about making chocolate covered pretzels but we probably need to do a trial run to see if it will be too much to do ourselves. We should probably write our vows at some point too 😂

    July 20!

Things we have done/booked so far: venue, photographer, caterer, DJ, florist, bakery. My last two BM's dresses came in today (!!) and we have the GM tuxes picked out, they just have to get fitted sometime between now & June. We asked a close family friend to be our host & hostess last night, so that was exciting.

Of course most of things we have only paid deposits on, so we will still have to pay the final part and make the final decisions for everything.

As far as I know, the only thing we have left to do is ask our pastor to be our officiant. FH's mom talked him last summer, but we haven't formally asked him yet. We are hoping to do that sometime in the next few weeks. FH's mom is also looking at places for our rehearsal dinner, but because our venue is very busy in the summer we won't be able to plan that too far in advance, and the meal itself will be pretty informal.

Hey! Just now became a July 20! We have most things still to go, so far we pretty much only have the venue and the dress (& sort of the officiants as well), so we're going to keep trucking to get it all accomplished!

End of July! We have everything planned except for small final details for day of decor, bridal party/parents gifts (does anyone have good ideas for this?), all things groomsmen, shoes/veil, and hotel blocks if we decide to do that!

July 27! We have all our vendors booked but still so much to do! I’m doing a boudoir shoot next month, still need a card box, finish personalizing invites, find rehearsal dinner food/place, buy my bridesmaids gifts. My FH is waiting until a couple months before to buy and alter his suit so that makes me nervous. Still need to decide on cake design and flavors. Still need to buy some sort of lighting for the tent. Still need to choose a first dance song so his sister can start choreographing. Lots of loose ends that won’t come together until months from now. 😪

July 6th, so far I have my venue, wedding colors, officiant, baker and photographer. I have yet to decide on my perfect dress, my fiance hasn't gotten his suit yet. We are not having bridesmaids/groomsmen. I still need to find decorations, invitations, catering and I'm honestly not sure what else I've been so lost with what all needs to be done

Still need to get my bouquet made, boutonnieres and corsages made, buy flowers for centerpieces and finish getting things needed for decor, order groomsmen and groom's attire, send out invitations (they're arriving tomorrow from Minted!)... lots of little things!

Girl I’m right there with you! Because I’m having a “destination” wedding, I don’t have anything other than my wedding band picked out and my wedding date is July 13th. It is killing me to be so last minute but we’re going to go tour our venue next month and then I’ll have a better idea of the decor and dress and everything that will go with it. Y’all hang in there and don’t let the planning replace the joy of marrying your best friend!

July 27th ! Everything is booked consider we are having a cruise wedding. Save the dates went out in Oct. The groomsmen finally have a look set in stoned so now I can finalize bridesmaids dresses. My dress was supposed to be ready for fitting in April but some changes have been made and now I'm pushing it close to the cut with it being ready the first week in July. I'm praying it'll be sooner though. Recently I've become interested in this dip dye trend considering my groom is wearing a very busy Miami vibe suit and I want to try and keep some type of color scheme. Other than that everything has been smooth sailing.

July 27- and I have a lot to do!

I have already gone for my first fitting. My bridesmaids I believe have all purchased their dresses off Azazie. I have my DJ, and venue booked. Florist confirmed just need to put deposit down.

Still need to get my invites done, meet with the officiant, do my registry, start getting together favors, bridesmaids gifts, suits, makeup... All the fun stuff!
