Is anyone having Jr bridesmaids or Jr groomsmen? If so what are their duties?

I am also interested in this, my cousin is 12 and is too old to be ring bearer (IMO) but I still want him to have a part to play, so I was thinking JR groomsman

Honestly they don’t really have any. They obviously can’t really help plan anything or pay for anything, basically they’re there because you want them to be. When I was a junior bridesmaid I was basically a “gopher” (as in go for the brides shoes, run this to the bathroom, grab something for the older bridesmaids) and I loved it because I felt useful. Now that I’m getting married, my FH little sister is my junior bridesmaid and I’m planning on including her in showers and having her spend the night with the rest of the bridal party the night before the wedding. The day of, her role will be much the same that mine was. Really juniors are a part of the wedding party like anyone else, they just don’t do the more adult things (like stag and bach weekends or lingerie parties). Junior groomsmen, I’ve never seen but are used often. I would assume their role would be much the same as a junior bridesmaid- just a helper to the bride or groom 😊

Dress up, walk, stand, walk. That's it.

My daughter is my Jr. Bridesmaid and her duty is just to be at the wedding in her dress. Also to come to the bridal shower but thats it. She went to pick my dress with me and my MOH as well.

This. I had 2 of each. They had their pretty clothes on. Walked down the aisle. Enjoyed cake and dancing after. I thanked them each with a gift just like their older counter parts.

Should have made it clear I am not expecting them to do anything just asking for insight. Thanks!

I’m having one of each. Their duties are Nothing really. My little cousin considers me her GodMom and wanted to be in it and then I wanted to include my 11 yr old nephew so that worked out perfectly.
