Jr Bridesmaid, 2 flower girls, and a ring bearer

Mrs. Del Grosso, on January 8, 2013 at 9:28 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

I'm starting to look around at what gifts to get my wedding party! I've gotten partial gifts for my MOH and Bridesmaids along with a gift for both moms. I'm letting FH figure out what he wants to get his groomsmen. I currently looking around for gifts for my Jr bridesmaid (my niece who will be 11 at the wedding) 2 flower girls (both pretty much my nieces one is 4 and the other will be 2 at the wedding) and my ring bearer who is 3. So far I've gotten them (the girls) little tote bags, and I also got the FG's teddy bear that says flower girl on it...Any ideas on what else to get them? I got the RB a plush football that says Allstar. Have no idea what else to get any of them, especially my niece (jr bridesmaid). What gifts are you getting your little ones (if your having any)?

I'm having 2 flower girls (my daughters). I'm going to give them jewelry, totes, and a book about being flower girls. I will also give each of them a picture frame with me and them on my wedding day. They're also very excited about having their hair done, and I agreed to maybe a little lip gloss (chapstick LOL).

They'll be 6 and 5 at the wedding.

An 11yo might like some lotion, body wash, spray that kind of thing.

Get her the same jewellry as a bm if you get them jewellry. I was a flower girl at 6yrs old and got a freshater pearl neclace. I wore it for the wedding, then my mom put it away. I still love it and wear it for special occasions (Like at the wedding anniversary of my aunt and uncles 25 wedding anniversary, they were thrilled)

Otherwise for an 11yr old. movie passes... mall gift certificates...

    Hankie for the little ones....

    flower girl poem

You are so very young but the years will pass by,

And you’ll too be a bride in the blink of an eye.

While you may not remember the day that I married,

The part that you played or the basket you carried.

There will be a day that will burn bright like an ember,

The day you will wed, you will always remember.

So here is a hankie for the day you will say…

“I need ‘something old’ for my wedding day.”

I am having trouble with the same issues, I have two flower girls (my twin nieces who will be 3 by my wedding), my son is the ring bearer (he is almost 9), and my daughter is a junior bridesmaid (she is 12). I am making my bridesmaids "tote bags" for the wedding day essentials and I thought I would make my daughter one too so she feels "in the group." I am thinking personalized teddy bears for my nieces and not really sure about my son yet, not sure Transformers and Itunes cards are ettiquette for wedding party gifts lol. Anyhow, I am struggling with this as well, and I am also struggling with gifts for the In-laws and my parents, my parents are legally married still but no longer are together, I KNOW IT'S A CRAZY THING! So I can't get them a joint gift like I will probably give my FH's parents. UGH!!! Stress, stress!

@Shannon H - I'm making my bridesmaids tote bags as well! LOL. It's been a few days and I still can't think of anything. My niece has a few disabilities (reading, speaking, spelling, cerebral palsy) She was born 3 mnths premature and also has really sensitive skin just like myself. So movie passes, lotions, body washes, etc are out of the question. She doesn't have her ears pierced and did have them A LONG time ago so I'm thinking of making that my niece's (Junior Bridesmaid) gift, well one of them anyways. I'll do that in May as a birthday gift as well. That's all I can truly think of right now!
