Jjs house veil?

I bought my dress from JJs House, BUT......I am an older, second time bride looking for something simple and knee length - much different than what most of you might be looking for. And, although I'm not constrained by budget, I saw no point in spending hundreds or thousands for the type of wedding we're having. And, there are few things in life I loathe more than shopping - ha - so all of that added up to.....why not, let's take a shot. If it was a horrible mistake, I willing to risk the $150 (which included custom measurements and expedited shipping) and go to Plan B.

No need for Plan B. It came in and I was really pleasantly surprised. It looks just like the picture, is VERY well made, and the materials are beautiful. So much so that I then decided to buy a bolero jacket / wrap as well.....that just came in and is just as nice. Both were ordered in ivory satin and are a perfect match to each other.

Let me be clear ---- your mileage may vary. For ME, and my situation, it made perfect sense, but I knew it was a risk. Personally, I think any online ordering is a risk, so just know that going in. I did read reviews and saw pictures of my dress on actual customers who left reviews, which helped. By the way, I don't buy into the popular notion that every company based in Asia are thieving scam artists. Some are - no doubt - as are some in every country of the world. We sometimes like to repeat what others on the internet say, whether we have first hand knowledge or not. Do your research and make a decision that's right for you. Good luck!!!

I ordered a veil from there and the quality was honestly the same as another veil I got at a bridal shop! It took a little bit to get to me but besides that I had no issues.

My sister was married in January and we bought her veil on JJ’s for $20 and it was BEAUTIFUL. I will be purchasing mine from there as well!!! The way I see it, $20 is enough that I can either LOVE IT or it be a wash that didn’t cost more than a bad lunch at work. Good luck! ☺️

I ordered my veil from JJ's House and it was basically just a $40 piece of tulle. The one I ordered was specifically listed under "veils with combs" and I specifically asked their customer service if this one had a comb, and was told yes. Guess what? No comb. -.- I have heard returning to them is impossible because they are in China, so I didn't even bother. But I was really disappointed! Had to order another one from etsy.

I will say though, I got a simple shawl and a tiara (not sure if I'm going to wear it yet though) from JJ's House, and both of those were great. So it seems like they DO have nice things, but it's a bit of a gamble!
