Jj's House Veil

Brooke, on November 23, 2018 at 6:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
Has anyone purchased their veil from JJ's House online? Thoughts on their veils? I found one similar to the one I loved with my dress at David's Bridal but $189.95 is a lot more than $25 for something I'm going to wear for maybe 2 hours for one day.

I just spent about an hour looking at their veils, I don’t think I’m going to commit. They have great prices but the quality is just sad. If you can see imperfections in pictures, I’m afraid real thing would be worse.

I have a veil from them. It's a chapel length single layer with lace at the bottom and appliques. It is lovely, actually, and very firmly attached to the comb. Bought a few veils from different places as I wasn't sure what I wanted. I'd post a picture, but it's at the seamstress. She's removing the single comb (like I said, it was solidly on there) and converting it to a drape veil. The ivory lace is a bit darker than my dress, as it is from a different place, but not enough to matter, I don't think. Will be a game time decision what veil I wear, but it won't be because the quality is poor.

Hi Brooke! Makes perfect sense and you received some great feedback here! Smiley heart Doing your research on a similar style veil to the one you found at David's is a great idea. Will you be wearing the veil all night long? Or taking it off after the ceremony and pictures?

I would take it off after the ceremony and pictures. So I really don't see a point in spending hundreds of dollars on something I will wear for maybe 2 hours.

I'm glad to hear this! Thank you! I think I'm going to wing it and if I hate it, I have time to get the other one. JJ's accepts returns according to the website.

Makes perfect sense! I don't blame you Smiley smile That's great that JJ's accepts returns, just-in-case. They sound like a great option for a more cost-effective veil!
