Jjs House Gowns

Alysia, on August 13, 2022 at 10:16 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 12
Has anyone ever used this website for gowns? I'm not looking to spend a lot. They seem reasonably priced and looks like you can try before you buy but I don't want to fall into a trap but local bridal shops are either over priced or don't have what I'd like. Thanks in advance.

You can do a search on weddingwire for JJs.

    Here is one discussion:

JJs House | Weddings, Wedding Attire | Wedding Forums | WeddingWire

It seems to be knock-offs and a hit-or-miss regarding the looks and quality of the dresses. There are some other recommendations. You might also check some of the consignment or over-supply bridal stores.

We got our bridesmaid dresses at JJ’s House and are happy with them.

I suppose it would have been helpful to mention that the discussion I posted appeared to be several years old, so it also possible JJs has improved.

There are many past posts discussing this vendor and almost all reviews are negative. It’s a company based out of China so you get unrealistically cheap prices, cheap quality fabric that doesn’t fit and no returns or customer service. Many brides said their seamstresses refused to touch the dresses for alterations. Avoid this store.

That store has been around for at least a decade. It survives by making cheap copies of other designer's work. It won't be the quality you expect, and it's a rip off for the designer.

You get what you pay for. If you need to go cheap, I get it (I had to too!) but you won't get the same quality fabric and craftsmanship as you would elsewhere.

You may find it better to shop with highstreet stores as many have started including small bridal ranges (or even some white 'regular' dresses could be suitable depending on what you're looking for), when I was looking lots of highstreet stores had reasonable quality items for the £150 - £300 mark (not big ball gown type dresses though obviously)

    There are also options like

preownedweddingdresses.com and stillwhite.com. I think some found dresses at lulus.com

Try Azazie or Cocomelody which have try on at home programs. Or make an appointment at several local bridal shops.

They’re just like AliExpress, so I would not trust at all.

I second Michelle on Azazie. Reasonable cost but tried and true. There’s also Bella Bridesmaids, Birdy Grey, and Kennedy Blue that have options as low as $99.
