Jewelry?

Denise, on August 23, 2019 at 12:29 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

I don't know how to pick jewelry. I'm not really a jewelry person. Is it a must to be decked out? Should I buy that soon or wait closer to? I have no clue whats considered "Bridal" enough. Thoughts, opinions?

You don’t have to wear jewelry at all, in fact some brides skip it if their dress is super ornate. It depends on the look you’re going for with your dress. Simple stud earrings are always timeless though.

There is no rule with jewelry. Depending on your dress you could do something super simple. My birthstone is sapphire and so I went with a sapphire necklace and earrings my husband had bought me and I loved it. I knew it wasn’t what most people chose but I didn’t care. Do whatever you like.

There are no rules - I wore a locket with my dad's picture in it (he passed in 2011), a pearl bracelet that has a charm that says "I am loved," and a set of diamond studs and pearl studs (double pierced ears) - because those things made me happy.

Wear things that make you happy - or no jewelry at all, if that's what makes you happy.

No rules with jewelry! I personally only wore my typical piercings in my ears and borrowed my mom's opal earring for my first hole. Didn't wear bracelets or necklaces or anything.

I am not a big jewelry person but I really felt like I needed something with my dress so I picked a somewhat coordinating set for pretty cheap at David's Bridal but later (like a week before my wedding) decided I wanted something worth keeping and passing down. I ended up borrowing (for my something borrowed) some very simple stud pearl earrings from my sister and buying a simple pearl strand necklace. I am a big fan of simple is more but I also wanted timeless classy pieces

That's completely up to you. You don't have to wear jewelry. I'm only wearing earrings and a necklace. I would check out Etsy and Amazon for jewelry of you decide to do so

It is not necessary to wear jewelry as it is your wedding if you have a heavy dress you can skip wearing jewelry. I personally like wearing simple stud earrings that also looks adorable.
