Jewelry vs. no jewelry?

I'll be wearing a shoulder necklace, it's not everyone's taste but I love to make a statement with my look. (Also first time I've posted my gown on here!)

My dress is off the shoulder and I don't want to take away from the neckline with a necklace so I'll just have earrings of some sort. What does your dress look like? That might help

It really depends on your style. You could go with a statement piece or just get something delicate. I don't think you need jewelry, it's completely up to you! Maybe check Etsy for wedding necklaces and see what comes up.

I do know I want a monogram necklace with my new initials to wear at the reception. I saw a friend do it and I loved it.

I wore statement earrings and no necklace.

The dress has sparkle and pearl beads so if I were to do a necklace it would just be a simple pearl necklace. Guess will have to check it out when I go for a dress fitting just like I'll test out a sash.

This isn't my dress, but pretty close to it. I really want to recreate the casual layered look myself. I agree with a simple necklace for that dress though if you go with jewelry.

I ended up with one very similar, and my taste is just a small simple necklace with that neckline.

@michelle, I LOVED it. It was like my 2nd dress and I tried on about 5 after that and it was just too perfect.
