My fiance and I are taking a short honeymoon due to work and other things. We've just booked our stay at Jekyll Island. Anyone ever been or have suggestions for things to see/do?

I'm in savannah----about 70ish miles away. lotttts of really nice beaches there.

I've been there once. It's really pretty. Just sunbathed the whole time so I'm not much help lol. But I do remember we had to pay to get on the island

I went to a gorgeous wedding there. We did wedding stuff or the beach all weekend so not much help

Thanks everyone. I'm glad to know it's at least pretty and we're going somewhere nice. As anyone would, we want to go somewhere that will be memorable. He's been once on a family vacation as a teenager, but I've never been. I'm so excited!

I went there on a family vacation a lonnnng time ago, so I don't remember much except for the fact that it is gorgeous!! I think I remember going to a cute ice cream shop on the island, and we did horseback riding on the beach!
