Has anyone had their honeymoon in Japan? If you have can you share any tips and tricks that you wish you had known before you had gone? This is the first country I have visited where I do not speak their primary language (I speak Russian, Hebrew, Spanish, and English). My fiance and I are booked for 20 days in end of October-early November and I feel like I am in a good spot since I have the hotels and flights booked and created the itinerary, but am worried about the little things and would be grateful for any advice!

I’ve been to Japan twice! Tokyo area and Nagano area. In my opinion, everything is very easy for a non Japanese speaker. The metro/subway station is SO amazing and easy to read and follow. If you’re purchasing a ticket anywhere, not just metro station, the person behind the desk shows you a paper with English translations and points to it. Also, there are a lot of pictures on menus so you know what to order in a restaurant.
