Jamaica Honeymoon- Iberostar Grand Hotel at Rose Hall

We booked our honeymoon at the Iberostar Grand Hotel at Rose Hall and were just wondering if anyone has been there before? All the reviews were great, but we would appreciate any advice about Jamaica (we've never been), tips about the hotel, or suggestions for activities outside the hotel. Thanks!!

I haven't personally been to Jamaica, but I've heard great things about Iberostar. Sounds like fun!!

I've been there! It's beautiful. I definitely recommend the adults only side as the other hotels on that property get rooooowwwwdy. Just my preference though especially for a honeymoon

Good activities, gorgeous beaches. Food was great and rooms were beautiful. They all have balconies and the pools were beautiful too! (Swim up bars - woot!)

Oh and! It's pretty close to the airport if you fly into Montego Bay. I believe we flew through Miami to get there.

I was there January 2012! The hotel is great, food and drinks were amazing! I went on a day trip to Dunns River Falks in Ocho rios (it was beautiful but way too many tourists for my liking) and Ricks cafe and the 7mile beach in Negril. Both awesome trips. We didn't end up going but there was a popular bar a quick drive from the resort that lots of people recommended.

I go to Jamaica every year. There is tons to do. Check out Dunn's River Falls and if you like dancing, one of the party catamarans. Mystic Mountain is close to Dunn's and has "bobsledding" down the mountain, ziplining, etc. Check out Negril for the 7-mile beach. Ask a cab driver to take you to a local jerk chicken place. Have fun!
