Jack and coke? Signature drinks?

Claire, on August 16, 2018 at 10:34 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Hey guys. So I’m definitely doing the 2 signature drinks. Bride and grooms. For the brides I was going to do a simple vodka with strawberry lemonade for “blushing bride.”
I need it to be drinks I can just throw in a dispenser and be done with it.
So how should I do the grooms drink? I wanted to do jack and coke but know the coke would go back in the dispenser? Thoughts??

I don't have any ideas but I love the idea of the "blushing bride"!

I love the “blushing bride”, do our men know each other. I swear, men and their jack and coke. He wants it as his signature drink as well but I don’t know if there’s a creative name I can give it..

Hi Amber! I want to do the jack & coke, but do you think it’ll be ok sitting in a dispenser? I’m not having a bartender so that was my issue!

Hi Claire! I love the "blushing bride", sounds like a yummy drink! I would say for the jack and coke, as long as you make it the day of the wedding it should be fine in a dispenser! My family makes rum and cokes every Christmas in a pitcher and it lasts pretty much all day!

First of all, you do know that by not having a bartender YOU are legally responsible if someone over drinks and gets into an accident or something after the event? Not the person who over drank, but YOU and YOU can be sued by the other party in the accident. I highly recommend not taking on that liability and having a licensed bartender.

For your actual question, no a Jack and Coke will not last in a dispenser as the carbonation will lose. Batched drinks like that cannot have any carbonation to them. Some people might not notice the quality difference over a few hours, but carbonated alcoholic drinks really only have about a 30 minute lifespan.
