Ivoryish dress and white veil... Ditch it or wear it anyway

Emily, on May 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 10

Ordered my dress about 5 months ago, it just came in and my veil I bought separately is like one shade more white than the dress..... do I wear it anyway? will anyone even be able to notice or is it something that will show up in pictures??

Chances are no one will notice I don't think, but can you show us a picture?

A picture would help but I doubt people will notice. Unless the dress is champagney and the veil is stark white I'm sure it will look great!

It's definitely hard to say without being able to see the dress and the veil together. Does it look noticeable to you? Have you shown it to other people?

We'd need to see a picture, preferable a few pictures in different lighting

I love color mixing. I have a blush pink dress with an ivory topper and a light ivory veil. You will look gorgeous!

My friend had this fear for her wedding last year, ivory lace dress and white lace on her veil. It ended up liking beautiful and nobody could tell they weren't the same shade! If you're really concerned, bring the veil in when you're doing your fitting and ask the person doing your alterations for their opinion!

Unless it's a Huge difference, I'm guessing most people won't notice. But if you think it will really bug you, and you have the budget and time to get a new one, you certainly can.

That's my 2 cents without having a picture Smiley smile
