Ivory Dress White Suit

Frevrwevr, on March 15, 2021 at 2:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
My dress is ivory and we have a dress code for light neutrals. I originally got FH an ecru suit (he doesn't want to wear tux) but then decided I wanted him in a lighter color like ivory with me. We don't have attendants or anything. So I went to swap his suit for what I thought was ivory, only to find it is white. I figured since my dress is closer to white than cream (the tulle practically looks white) that it'd be ok. However, today I decided to put his suit next to the ribbon that'll be used for my corset back since the material is sort of a match, and you can definitely tell the difference but imo it's not drastic. I reached out to our photographer but haven't heard back just yet. Do I need to go find him another suit again? Do we have to match that much? Can his suit be lighter than my dress?

It will be fine you can tell it’s slightly different, but not enough to be a big deal (ivory dress, white tux jacket) Ivory Dress White Suit 3

It really depends on lighting. I have seen wear ivory can look yellowish/dirty next to white. It's one reason I knew I wanted a white dress rather than ivory or white when my husband and I got married.

Wow, y'all look great! And you're right, there's a difference but it doesn't look bad at all. Do you know if your photographer edited this very much, if at all?

If I had known then that finding an ivory suit would be so hard, I def would've opted for a white dress! I wish I would've asked about this in advance.

My photographer finally responded and said she can edit it as much as possible if it's a huge deal to me but that she doesn't think it'll matter very much, so you're right.

I’m not sure. I’d imagine it’s not edited though. Most (if not all) of our pictures look like this with the difference.
