Just Said Yes January 2021

It's 6-8 sizes too big, but buy it in your size anyway!?

Almost Dr. A, on June 17, 2020 at 12:33 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I have been to two bridal stores to look at dresses. I'm a size 0 or 2, but the smallest dress size the places carried was a 6 and a 10. I feel like I have no idea what these dresses would look like in my size since the front would be smaller (in the bust/neckline) and all I could see on the back were the clips they had on it. When I finally found one that I thought I could like, they expected me to just buy it in my size and hope for the best. I find this ridiculous! So, I ordered one online from JJ House, but I'm super worried I won't like it in person. And, the return policies for all of the online stores are absolutely insane. Send help and luck. 😭😬

I ordered from JJs House, too, and really do love my dress. Sending you all the positive vibes that you love the one you ordered in person as much as you did on the web page!!! Smiley heart Smiley star

I didn’t like the clips either but I ordered my dress in a 2 and it was beautiful. I haven’t used jjs house but I hope it turns out the way you envisioned!

Good luck and I hope you end up loving the dress you picked!
At the first bridal shop I went to the consultant started me looking at dresses that were like 3-4 sizes too big saying bridal dresses run that much smaller and there was no way I’d fit in my street size (I did). I do know what you mean though trying to see what a dress will actually look like when it’s literally falling off you.

Yes! I had this exact experience at my first appointment. They were putting on samples that were 4 sizes too big and I had no clue what the dresses would’ve looked like, even when they clipped them. It just looked off.
