Italy Theme - Color Scheme

We are planning an Italy 'themed' wedding. We are using large tomato cans as centerpiece vases, olive oil favors, pasta bar, wine corks to hold seating cards, Italy postcards as table numbers, sunflowers, few other little things we haven't settled on yet. I'm trying to nail down a color scheme, and I think I've found it!

FH and I both love teal and we want to incorporate yellow (his late grandma's favorite color).

What do you think? Do these colors scream Italy to you?!

I absolutely LOVE this color scheme. I honestly don't know why it screams summer in Italy to me, but it does! Teal is my favorite color and while I'm not a big fan of yellow, I have a soft spot for yellow in wedding color shemes

Very beautiful! When I see yellow, I think of Italy for sure! My bridal shower was an Italian theme, my mom picked the perfect theme for me. She used a lot of yellow!

I personally don't think yellow or teal when I think Italy. I think of green, white and red since those are the colors of their flags. I also think using tomato cans for centerpieces sounds really odd, but that's just me.

You're welcome! If you want to do the tomato can centerpieces I would at least take the labels off and maybe decorate them a bit to dress them up a bit. Pasta bar sounds amazing 😍

We are using the cans because they are yellow and from Italy. If we remove the labels I think it will take away from that and not make much sense as to why we are using them. We are excited about the pasta bar!

I don’t know that I associate any specific colors with Italy, but your color palette is very pretty! I’m not sure what a tomato jar looks like, but I love your ideas for the olive oil favors and wine cork card holders! My dad actually put together some wine cork card holders, too. Very cool!

Honestly, the colors don't say Italy at all to me but it all comes down to how you incorporate them.
I do have to say, I LOVE your ideas for center pieces and favors!!!! I cannot wait to see pictures of how it all comes together!!! Such great ideas!!
