So today May 23 would have been our wedding day. I cried this morning. We were able to postpone and get all our vendors to coordinate to the new date of August 7. I should feel blessed that we were able to pull it off, but I just felt so down this morning still. Then I got a reminder that my fiancé is a keeper and just a few simple words could make me smile again. So I hope all the other brides that are in the same shoes just remember it just time which can go by fast.It doesn’t change how much you love the one you are going to marry and will make that day so much better because it is about the two of you. It would have been today 1

That's absolutely beautiful. We've had to postpone (before covid happened) but I still understand how you feel. I'm glad everything worked out for you and when it finally happens, it's going to be amazing. May your FH continue to be your peace. I wish you both the best!

Mine is tomorrow!! We have postponed to Sept 4th.. sooo today I went out to the bakery and grabbed cannolis bc we were having cannolis at our wedding... tomorrow will be bitter but have some sweets too!! I cried reading your post bc I know how you feel!! Xoxoxo

Love this! We are postponing as well... We have almost everything changed over. I told my fiance just today that I would like to do something nice on our original date to take the sting out of it.

He's definitely a keeper! Glad you were able to have some joy on your special day. My wedding was scheduled for April 11; I cried all week and I still occasionally cry when I allow myself to think about it. We wrote our own vows and read them to each other on our day....was bitter sweet but it was memorable. I'm looking forward to finally walking down the aisle in July.

Postponed ours to August. Totally understand hun. You have a strong relationship. Like my fiancé tells me, at least we didn’t have to postpone due to relationship issues. I picture all of us girls in 50 years telling our granddaughters “picture it... year 2020 and grandpa and I were going to get married when...” like Sophia Petrillo from Golden Girls. I’m so sorry girl. In the same boat. ❤️
