We are paying for the wedding ourselves. I paid off and picked up my dress yesterday. The venue and our vendors are almost completely paid in full. Going to order my hubby to be's suit and the kids' outfits. We have 7 months to go. Ordered invitations today.

We have been engaged going on 4 years. We have had a lot of time to think about stuff. We just decided to go for it a couple of months ago.

You sound like me - get it donneeee! I'm still deciding on invitations but we're sending off our Save the Dates and have seven & a half months to go as well. We are also paying for everything alone. You rock! lol

That's so exciting!! For me, it didn't feel real until we got to our venue before our rehearsal the night before our wedding to set up our reception hall with the decor we purchased/wanted there. My sister was putting the tablecloths on the table with my grandma's help and my husband and I were setting up the table numbers and putting the escort cards on the table outside of the ballroom when I looked up at him and realized that I got to marry him the next day. Best.Feeling.Ever!
