iso Liquid silicone for itchy straps

Have you talked to a seamstress about having them add this for you? That might be a good idea in order to make sure it gets applied well and doesn’t come off or move on your wedding day.

I’m very sorry that happened. I also had an issue with the first seamstress I visited (paid her $150 to do nothing…). I then found a second one that was actually able to take out the boning and let my dress out so I could breathe! (Sales lady at shop ordered too tight, then gave me attitude and told me to “lose weight” when I calmly told her it was so uncomfortable. Company they ordered from had done some requested custom work so couldn’t return). While it might be tempting to save the money and DIY a fix, this will usually cause more stress to yourself. I would suggest finding another seamstress that you trust and have read reviews on. Good luck!

That is a horrible sales lady. Did she recommend the wrong size or she just ordered it wrong? I think some of these boutiques need to take some responsibility.

View Quoted Comment I personally believe she must have measured wrong or made a poor choice based on the chart, and I trusted her because I don’t buy wedding dresses every day…….Either way, her attitude was not great and she tried to play it off by saying “at least you can zip it up. I’ve had ladies before where they couldn’t zip it up and that’s an actual problem.” My response to her was “but I feel like I can barely breathe with it zipped up…”
