Is your ceremony and reception at the same location?

How are you separating them, if at all? Are they in the same room Golden Globes style or are guests ushered to another area for tear down, or does the venue have different areas to utilize? Are you staying at the same venue for the after party?

    We're not set on a venue yet but we have some ideas most of them they would be in the same place.

    Yes, our ceremony and reception will be at the elks lodge in Norwood, MA. They have a field on the side of the building which will be used for the ceremony

    I'm having my ceremony in the church and my reception is going to be at the Hilton which has plenty of perks.

    Hi there!

    We are having both ceremony and reception at the same venue. The ceremony will be held on the lawn and the reception in a glass atrium. The venue has rooms for the bride & groom to get done in separately, and is really huge so there are also a lot of photo opportunities at the venue so no need to leave at all.

    Everything will be at the same venue. We selected Orting Manor and we have the venue for the entire weekend.

    Yes the wedding and reception is gonna be at the same venue but different section for the ceremony, reception, happy hour

    Usually at the same venue but at a different location within the venue.

    As you can imagine, ceremony seating is very different than dinner seating.

    Usually, if a venue has them in the same room then they will have cocktail hour in a separate area so that they have time to "flip the space" which just means change the layout and set up to what is appropriate for a reception.
