Is white jacket okay?

I have a bridal shower next weekend and it will be a little chilly as it is an outdoor event due to covid (60 degrees). My dress is green, as a bride would you be offended if I wore a white jacket?? I don’t want to be tacky, but I only have so many fall jackets and my navy doesn’t match as well.

    I’m interpreting this as you are NOT the bride and asking if it’s offensive to wear a wear accessory (not to me. I’m wearing a denim jacket and my mom is wearing a white cardigan, but I guess it might depend on the bride — just ask her)? Or are YOU the bride and asking if it’s offensive to NOT wear all white? (It’s not. Wear what you want. I won’t wear anything white to my shower).

    I am a guest! I just wasn’t sure if a bride would be annoyed if a guest wore a white jacket on top of a completely different color. When I was a bride I wouldn’t have cared, but don’t want to offend anyone!

    Are you close enough to the bride to ask? I personally wouldn’t be offended but I also do not plan to wear white to any pre-wedding events.

    There's absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a white jacket to a shower and I hate that people even have to second guess things like this.

    If the primary color is white and it covers the whole top half of your body, no, I would not wear it if I were you. Literally anything else.
