Is videographer worth it?

I personally don’t think so; FH and I aren’t hiring a videographer at all.

Some people don't hire them. If you have a photographer then that's already enough to capture memories. If you want clips of specific moments you could make sure your friends capture them

We are paying $1500 for two videographers for 8 hours, drone footage, 3-5 minutes highlight film, edited ceremony and reception. Not sure where you are but the price quoted seems high for what you'll get.

I think it's up to you and your budget. A videographer was a must for us. Of course photos are beautiful, but I won't be able to look at a photo in 40 years and hear my wife saying her vows.

It depends on what you want. I am contemplating hiring one and some people do, some don't. One of my friends got married and said her biggest regret was not having video.

Thankfully our photographer will be handling both our photos and video with some help! If we didn't get him for both there would of been no way that I could pay for just a videographer!

Not sure where you are located, but our package is $1,000. It includes a full day of coverage, two videographers, a highlight reel, and a flash drive with the raw footage. Your quote seems really high for 2 hrs. Ask your photographer if they recommend any videographers or check out a local college/university some students need the credit!

We didn’t have one and I don’t regret it. We put a camera on a tripod in the back of the room to catch the important things.
