Is this decor worth $1500? Is that a good deal

Wow thats alot im shocked they dont include it with the venue mine does except backdrop they dont is all but everything else is. You can find cheaper ways of doing it yourself but then you have that to take home with you afterward is all so to me it would be worth it so i didnt have to take all that stuff i won't use again home. So thats a judgement call on your end if you can afford it then i would its worth it to me if i had to pay for it i deff would.

I mean, everyone has different budgets and different priorities so it’s hard to say if that’s “a lot” of money or if it’s “worth it” for you, because I’m not sure if that’s proportionately a lot of your budget or not, or if decor is a huge priority for you.

That being said, PERSONALLY I would not spend that much. But I am in the minority likely, of brides who reeeeally didn’t care about decor in the slightest 😂 we allocated our budget to things that directly affected guest experience and our experience... food, drinks, photography, and a beautiful venue to begin with (so, decorating it wasn’t a huge priority).

We had no backdrop at our ceremony at all, and so many people told us that we had the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to (because of my brother’s awesome job officiating, my and husband’s heartfelt self written vows, and they could all feel how much we loved each other). So to me, decor really has very little to do with how much you enjoy your wedding, and how much your guests enjoy your wedding.

That being said, that’s just my opinion and my experience! If decor is more of a priority to you and you have $1500 to spare, go for it! But if you’re trying to budget and prioritize, I think that money could definitely be better allocated elsewhere!
