Is this common?

Lots of people have second thoughts about their dress (these boards are literally overrun by it just search Dress regret!)
I'm sure your dress is beautiful and you chose it for a reason!

Im having second thoughts as well. Compare to some of the dresses I see sometimes I wish I can repick but its ok Ill dress my dress up more. It is a very normal feeling.

I second guessed my dress for months after I bought it. Then one day after looking at pictures of it I got the feeling of "omg this is my dress!" I handy 2nd to last fitting last Friday and even though it was all pinned seeing it fit like it's supposed to made me fall for it all over again.

I made an appt to go to David's bridal later today to look at other dresses even though I bought mine ha ha

For me it's just a part of FOMO. I purposely tried on all different styles of dress before deciding so that I wouldn't feel like I missed out on anything. I've purposely not looked at any other dresses since getting mine.

You are having dress envy or dress remorse possibly. I did this when I went to get my dress. I purchased one because it was the one I had my heart set on. I did try on 3 others and loved my 2nd dress also (it was fully beaded which was what i really wanted) but the 1st dress was more in my price range. Well i got the first dress and literally once i got home felt so bad. I mean i kept looking at the pictures of me in the 2nd dress and loved it even the more. So I went back weeks and later and changed my dress. lol. I am happy I did. Baby girl is hanging up in the closet waiting for alterations and our big day.

So no it is not unusual. BUT i will say this. Once you get the dress you love......STOP LOOKING!!!! Don't look at another dress. Try not to look at others in their dresses. Dont look at new arrivals etc. because you may find yourself having remorse.

Dress envy is real. I had dress envy a lot. I would love my dress but I'd also think gosh those other ones are gorgeous too.

It’s common, but don’t let it get to you. All the dresses are beautiful or they wouldn’t sell. They may have a different venue, season, color scheme, or decor than you. And every body type is different so some fits and styles look better on Certain people.

Dress envy is real! I’ve been married for almost 2 years and sometimes when I see gorgeous dresses on here I feel bad about mine. I think it’s perfectly normal and if you still love your dress then that’s what matters.

Definitely, I live my dress but there are so many dresses it's hard not to want another one.
