Is this appropriate to wear to a rehearsal dinner?

I am going to a rehearsal dinner with my FH and I found this dress I really like, but I don't really know etiquette for these things. Is white or a light color inappropriate? I'm just a guest. Here is a picture, is this ok or should I go with something that's a different color. Thanks!!

I think it's fine. It's just a rehearsal dinner, not the actual wedding...and it's not pure white. It's got a pretty pattern. Go for it.

I wouldn't know because I am not having a Rehearsal Dinner. We are having a birthday party for my FH's son. I think that dress is really pretty though.

Is the rd at a restaurant or is it a back yard BBQ? If it's at a restaurant I think it's fine, BBQ- may be a bit much....

First of all, it's not white. Secondly, there's no rule against wearing white to the RD.

I can admit I am one of those brides who would be irritated if someone wore white to my wedding. With that said, if someone wore that to my RD I would give no shits.

I think it's fine. It's barely white and honestly nobody remembers what anyone wears to a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or wedding. I only ever remember what the wedding dress looks like. Sometimes I don't even remember that! HaHa! Don't over think it. It's a very pretty dress.

I like it I think you should wear it! Like others have said- it's not pure white and it has a pattern so I don't think anyone would mistake it for bridal.
