Is there a cut off age for the ring bearer and flower girl?

Wasn't sure if this was asked just yet? I know of two young girls to be flower girls that are sisters but when my FH and I get married the oldest will be 12.

This gets asked from time to time and everyone has a different opinion as you can see from your responses. Do whatever you and the girls are comfortable with as there is no wrong answer.

Wow I didn't realize you could be too old to be a flower girl, but yeah, if she feels like it's too childish for her, I like the others suggestions of having her hold a bouquet while walking down the aisle.

I think 10 and under, but it really doesn't matter. Do what you want!

Thank you everyone for the input. I think I will have the oldest of the two be a jr bridesmaid and the youngest who will likely be 8 at the time we get married be the flower girl. Now I just need to find a ring bearer...but I like that title of ring security! that's a good idea.
