Hello ladies
I have a dress dilemma. I already have a gown, that I was talked into buying and do not like anymore. It does not seem like me. I have tried several dresses and have not gotten the bridal feeling, until I tried this one. This will be my second wedding and I am 41. We will only have close family at ceremony in Gatlinburg. Should I just go ahead? Since this is the only gown that made me so happy and excited. What colors for September to go with it?

    Go with whatever makes you happy. Do you have a color scheme in mind? Pretty much anything goes with black, but burgundy, emerald, or other jewel tones would look great for a fall wedding.

    I am struggling with color scheme. Even though everything goes with black I just can't decide. I don't want to be too gothic!

    Do you like moody blues or moody purples/reds? Sometimes black and one color can look too stark next to each other but various shades of blue or red/purple with touches of black could look so sexy & elegant.

    YES! Go for it!
    Many things look great. Black and gold can never go wrong. Dark reds would be stunning too! That might give it all a more dramatic effect, but if you're good with that, that would be stunning!

    I'm 41 as well and I'm also wearing a black dress. This is my second marriage and I want to be an unconventional bride and do things my way. Wear what makes you happy, don't settle to please anyone else.

    Turquoise or tiffany blue would give you richness without looking goth.

    I’m thinking a sparkly v-shaped necklace and dangly earrings. I have a pixie cut so no updo, but I’ll do a rose gold and crystal headband.

    For veil I'm thinking ivory with maybe a black detail at the bottom to tie it in
