Is tbdress.com a legit site?

Kaohi, on April 5, 2017 at 11:44 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

I'm nervous to get a dress from sites like this because I've heard about a lot of scams.. although I can't help but be SO INTERESTED in these dresses that I'm finding, on these sites that aren't well known of (or at least I haven't heard of them), & at such affordable prices! My budget for a dress is $500, so these sites are definitely getting my hopes up in getting my dream dress within my budget. Has anyone gotten their dress from tbdress.com? Or a similar site? Please let me know! Also, do I need to manually come back & find my post in order to see comments? Or is there another way to see them?

Hi! You can get a notification email when someone replies to a thread you started. From the desktop version of the site hover over your name in the top right corner and click “My Settings”. Scroll to the bottom of the page under the "Notifications" section and make sure the "Wedding Forums" box is ticked.

I have never heard of them. I wouldn't recommend unless you are sure of their reviews. Try googling it.

I bought my dress for $700 from LatterDayBride.com

@Kaohi C you are very welcome their dresses are very beautiful and the prices are great!! I hope you find the dress of your dreams !! Only suggestion I have is to make sure you have tried on dresses in person before you buy so you know exactly what style of dress is your best!! Happy Shopping!!

I have purchased a dress from tbdress.com. Although it was not bridal the dress was very well made. I purchased a standard size 4 and all measurements were correct. They do have an option to make it custom. With this being said I would not recommend buying your wedding dress unless you know for sure the type of dress you want/or you're not picky.. You do miss out on the going and trying on dresses. Knowing the difference of the feeling when you put on the dress you will choose. Your budget is fine. Forget about the tag/brand and shop for your dress. It may take time but you will find it. I have included a picture of the dress. It was shown in silver, mother of the bride dress. I ordered dark green for a Mardi Gras Party.

Ordering a wedding dress online makes me nervous no matter what! You can't fully tell what it looks like, don't know what it feels like, or how it's going to look on you! This website is not based in the US and is an online only store, so you would not be able to try anything on.

Also if you check out their return policy (which everyone should do if you are thinking about ordering a wedding dress online), it clearly says that they will only accept returns if: customer service confirms they sent you the wrong item, if the item is damaged or faulty, or a partial refund if some original parts are missing (huge red flag that is even included in their policy). This means that if you order the dress and don't like it or it doesn't fit you can't get your money back!!

They have decent reviews on sitejabber, but horrible reviews and a warning for fraudulent reviews on trustpilot, and a stated pattern of complaints on the BBB :

Try azazie - you can try in samples of the dresses before ordering online. We are using them for our bridesmaids dresses but they have some beautiful looking wedding gowns too

If you only have $500 to spend on a dress I would not run the risk of buying a poorly made one that you haven't tried on. There's no way they're going to allow you to return in either if you don't like it.

Go to David's Bridal, search for pre owned wedding dresses, look at Azazie. These sites are not trustworthy, especially for something as important as your wedding dress.

I got mine from David's bridal for $150 (it was on sale and I had a coupon). Although from what I've heard it really depends on the stylist whether or not you have a good experience. Certainly worth a try though!

Dont do it. The TBdress company is a scam. I recently bought a $142 dress that did not look like the picture nor was it fit per the size chart. When I requested a refund, it took the company several days. I emailed, messaged on facebook, and sent them a live chat. All that for them to tell me that I would only get a 10% refund on their mistake. SCAM company.

If you google Tbdress reviews, you will choose another shop to buy from. I give you examples of that reviews: https://tbdress.pissedconsumer.com/review.html
