Is my Wedding Starting to early?

My wedding is on a Saturday 12:30pm to 5pm. Ceremony is 30 mins long, then the reception starts. I always thought weddings started between 1-4pm, is a 12:30pm wedding to early? Also my guest won't have to drive any where else, since the ceremony and reception are at the same location. They'll also...

My wedding is on a Saturday 12:30pm to 5pm. Ceremony is 30 mins long, then the reception starts. I always thought weddings started between 1-4pm, is a 12:30pm wedding to early?

Also my guest won't have to drive any where else, since the ceremony and reception are at the same location. They'll also be served appetizers right after the ceremony.

    I think that sounds fine. We are doing a brunch wedding so our ceremony is early too!

    I don't think it's to early we are planning the ceremony at 1 and then our reception until 7 on a Sunday

    I don't think so. Ours is a Sunday from 1 - 6:30, mainly to accommodate those who may need to work the following day, but I think its a nice change from an evening affair.

    My Wedding starts at 10:00 .. So i think you are safe.

    Mine is close to the same timeline. My ceremony is at 12:30 and my reception starts at 1:30 (30 minute drive). Reception ends at 5 pm.

    The time is fine. The food maybe not. Those will need to be heavy apps and lots of them 'cause that's meal time.

    We planned the same thing except ours starts at 1130am!
