Is my engagement ring too tight?

It’s literally impossible to tell from a photo.

It leaves an indent in my finger after I take it off. I takes me a couple tugs to get it off. Not sure if the indent in my finger where it touches my finger is because I have chubby fingers or it is too tight.

It does seem right but it also depends if you feel bloated like after I eat a large salty meal my ring leaves an indent too

I think it’s a personal preference. If you can get it on and off fairly easily it should be fine though. It’s beautiful!

Mine leaves a mark like that from time to time.
My advice is to wait til its somewhere around 70 degrees and see how it fits then.
My fingers swell in the summer, but the heat makes my rings slippery.
And my fingers shrink in the cold of winter.
It's basically a matter of personal preference. How you like them to fit.
You could always go in and try on sizing rings to see if you like the way a different size feels.

I can’t tell from the photo, but I was questioning the size of my ring a while back and asked the jeweler and he said that it should slide relatively easily and catch slightly at the knuckle. I have the issue of mine being a little tight in the summer when my fingers swell from the heat and literally slipping off to the point that I had to get a spacer in the winter

That's personal preference, but if it's difficult to take off then it'd be a bit tight

Mine is only difficult to take off in the summer, because of the heat. I have to twist it maybe two times. I get a little line from it in the summer but not winter, so I would wait until the weather changes to see what happens before resizing

As long as its not uncomfortable or cuts off circulation i think your fine
