Is my craigslist photographer good enough?

So me and FH decided we would go with a cheaper photographer so that we would be able to afford a DJ, so we found one of craigslist. He has been photographing weddings for 2 years, and does a wedding almost every weekend. He is charging us $600 for the entire day. I enjoy his style but am a little afraid going with a cheaper photographer wont end up good.

    I like the picture quality, and that's an awesome deal for full day photography. I'd just make sure the contract includes a minimum number of pictures you'll receive from your wedding day and a timeline for how long it will take!

    He might be starting out? That’s how we found our photographer he’s newer so cheaper but pictures are awesome!!!

    Photo quality looks pretty good but based on that, and that he has a wedding “almost every weekend” and 2 years experience, that price is a huge red flag to me. Why is he so cheap? Find as many reviews as you can, view entire galleries of the whole day, read through the whole contract and make sure you know exactly what you’re getting. You may have to pay for your photos separately at that price.

    Thanks for the responses everyone! He only has a couple of reviews which are all 5 star. When we had a meeting with him he was super friendly and I asked about references he said I could contact anyone on his page

    Just make sure your contract is chrystal clear. My coworker a couple years ago used someone on Craigslist for $500 and she and many other customers had to take him to court to get their photos that were unedited! He had decent reviews when she booked him then the year leading up to her wedding was just pure neglect on his part for all his customers.
